Biodegradable wash bowls help to reduce risk of infection

In a nutshell: Colechester NHS Trust has implemented the use of single use wash bowls for patients in an effort to reduce the risk of infection and save valuable time. The bowls are biodegradable and can be disposed of after use in an environmentally friendly way. Previously the Trust used plastic bowls which had to be decontaminated after each use.
